The Royal Opera Chorus has one vacancy for Second Tenor. This full-time permanent position will commence on Monday 27 August 2018.

  • Auditions will be held on 30 April and 1 May 2018.
  • Recalls will take place on 14 and 15 May 2018.

Applicants must have solid, classical training and professional operatic experience.

First round
Successful applicants will be asked to prepare:
- Two opera arias, contrasting in style and language (not English).
- Prepare one chorus passage from a list of six such passages provided in advance.

Second round
Successful applicants will be asked to prepare:
- Two arias, at least one of which must not have been offered in the first round. In addition, all six chorus passages from the first round must be prepared.
- There may also be some sight-reading.
