Purchase Ledger Supervisor

Operating from our heritage theatre site, we are one of the busiest repertory theatres in the world and are supported by a broad range of staff, from production teams to front of house, administration and finance.

The Finance Department is currently looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Supervisor to ensure the smooth running of the Purchase Ledger function, working to all reporting and compliance requirements, with clear controls in place. In this role, you will play a key part in the roll out and ongoing management of the e-procurement system and work closely with the Procurement Manager to support the success of this project. The post is offered as a permanent contract.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with the following essential skills and experience:

-Sufficient experience of a similar role in Purchase Ledger, with ability to perform statement reconciliations to the General Ledger

-Experience of working on a purchase to pay system E-procurement system

-Experience and ability to supervise designated staff

-Excellent numeracy skills, good experience of Excel and Word, and a high standard of written and verbal English

-Strong relationship building skills and ability to manage relationships based on mutual trust, understanding and service delivery

-Commitment to managing own learning and continuous professional development relevant to the role
