The Royal Opera House produces the best opera and ballet in the world. We are seeking to appoint a Technical & Production Administration Manager to join our established team.

The Technical & Production Administration Manager will build and lead an administrative team to maximise the introduction of new digital systems (Parim, eProcument, Trail etc.). The role will involve providing an administration management service to the entire Technical and Production Department, (Technical, Production and Costume) with a focus on effective information management and reporting to support Technical scheduling, staffing and training plans.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Substantial experience of working with databases including data analysis and report writing and the ability to deliver accurate, high quality work and reports;
  • IT skills, including a very strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access or other databases;
  • An understanding of the technical operations and production work in a theatre;
  • Strong project management skills, progress chasing and ability to deliver to budget and deadlines;
  • Team management experience; and
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data clearly and concisely.
