£25,000 per annum

The Royal Opera House, home to The Royal Opera, The Royal Ballet and The Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, is one of the most prolific performing arts venues in the world. Each season we present over 300 performances of Opera and Ballet on our main stage, around 200 performances in our Linbury Theatre and performances delivered in partnership at other venues around the UK. In addition, our Learning and Participation team host a year round programme of public performances, events and exhibitions both in Covent Garden and at our site in Thurrock and we deliver over 150 private events throughout our Covent Garden building. Last month we reopened our heritage building, following the Open Up project, to welcome an even wider group of people to experience what the Royal Opera House has to offer.

The Legal and Business Affairs team provide an essential service to a range of internal clients, working centrally across the organisation. We are now looking for a Junior Business Affairs Advisor to provide effective and proactive support to the Head of Legal and Business Affairs and to a range of internal stakeholders in carrying out the responsibilities of the department.

The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with these qualities:

-Ability to undertake contractual and administrative work effectively in a Legal and Business Affairs department

-Sufficient knowledge of and familiarity with contractual documentation and experience with contract templates or precedents, also familiar with copyright issues

-Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload with high productivity

- High standards of general accuracy and respect for compliance issues and confidential information

-A consistent high level of responsiveness and customer care coupled with tact and diplomacy

-Commitment to managing own learning and continuous professional development relevant to the role
