Executive Assistant to Director of Finance

Permanent, £29,000 per annum, full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

We are one of the busiest repertory theatres in the world and are supported by a broad range of staff, from production teams to front of house, administration and finance.

We are currently looking for an experienced EA to provide effective and proactive secretarial and administrative support to the Director of Finance.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the responsibilities of the role include:

  • Managing the diary and being the point of contact for enquiries and visitors for the Director of Finance;
  • Secretarial, administration and office management duties;
  • Providing effective support for meeting scheduling, preparation and taking minutes;
  • Developing and maintaining positive and productive relationships with all stakeholders, contacts and colleagues;
  • Insurance claim administration and responding to day-to-day insurance queries;

The successful candidate will be a professional and confident team player, able to demonstrate the following qualities and experience:

  • Strong EA experience within a busy executive office, ideally within a large organisation and experience of complex diary management.
  • Strong organisational skills, with a systematic approach to problem solving.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and manage a busy workload with high productivity.
  • Experience, understanding and respect for compliance issues and confidentiality.
  • Strong numeracy skills, with the ability to work accurately with data entry and checking figures.
