Cinema Account Officer


Permanent Contract

£22,500 per annum

The Royal Opera House offers world-class opera, ballet, music and dance live on stage at our iconic theatre in Covent Garden, and reaches out to audiences across the UK and beyond through ROH Cinema and digital content on other platforms. Our cinema screenings in the UK are currently shown at 450 sites and in over 35 countries worldwide.

We are now looking to recruit a Cinema Account Officer to support our work in UK and international cinema and BP Big Screens. Reporting to the Head of Operations, Cinema and BP Big Screens, this role provides account services and support for all designated cinema and BP Big Screens activities and service provision. This entails maintaining contact with the UK based cinema chains for the live relays and recorded screenings; providing service support for the cinema partner and their international distributors; data management on screenings and venues for our cinema audiences; gathering and reporting on sales data; and supporting business development and growth activities. This role offers a development opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in delivering account services in this sector.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player, able to demonstrate:

-Some experience in a similar role in media, cinema or the digital sector

-Ability and commitment to provide an effective and reliable service to partners and distributors across UK and international territories

-Highly proficient MS Office skills, including Excel and highly proficient with databases, able to design and extract reports

-High level of numeracy, able to produce a high standard of work with data reporting, analysis and data presentation

-Consistent high level of service delivery and responsiveness

-Commitment to managing own learning and continuous professional development relevant to the role
