Chorus Manager


Permanent Contract

Circa £44k per annum depending on experience

The Royal Opera House produces the best opera and ballet in the world. We are seeking to appoint an experienced Chorus Manager, to manage the Chorus, Extra Chorus, Actors and Dancers and ensure the smooth running of all day to day Chorus activities. The Chorus Manager represents the Chorus in all planning, scheduling and liaison with ROH departments, conductors, producers and directors.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • A proven track record in the management of the administrative aspects of a professional group of performers, including relevant HR processes
  • Excellent people and relationship management skills
  • A thorough understanding and experience of scheduling operations
  • An understanding of the needs of performing artists
  • Desire to expand knowledge of operatic repertoire and awareness of current trends in the music/operatic world
  • Strong oral and written English language skills with accuracy and attention to detail
