Full time: 40 hours per week with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by the Events Programme

As a charity, we could not maintain our reputation, the range of our work, or our digital presence, without the support of our business partners, sponsors, philanthropists and members. The Development and Advocacy Department is seeking to recruit an Events Officer to join the team during a period of demand and growth and help deliver sector leading events for our philanthropic and commercial clients.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and dynamic individual with good people skills. This position also requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure. This is a fantastic opportunity to hone your events craft and learn from the best in the business.

We are looking for:

  • Relevant experience in supporting the organisation and delivery of events
  • General project experience, including planning and prioritisation, and documentation preparation skills
  • A commitment to delivering a first-rate service to clients, philanthropists and potential supporters
  • Highly proficient Microsoft Office user with good database and Excel skills
  • Commitment to a high standard of work with good attention to detail
  • Strong team player able to work collaboratively across the organisation
