Permanent Contract
Full time: 40 hours per week (we are open to conversations about flexible/part time working for qualified candidates)
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Who we are:
The Royal Ballet and Opera continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music, and dance both live on stage and through multiple digital platforms, from live streaming to worldwide cinema screenings. The Orchestra of the Royal Opera House accompanies The Royal Opera and The Royal Ballet on the Main Stage.
The role:
We are seeking to recruit a person who will lead on the engagement and management of all freelance musicians working with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House and be responsible for managing all OROH recruitment processes ensuring all selection panels maintain a fair and transparent process. They will work closely with the Orchestra Manager and Assistant Orchestra Manager (Members) to assist with the day to day running of the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House.
What you`ll bring:
This role will suit a candidate who can adapt to changing situations, have a level of flexibility, and can work under pressure and in fast evolving situations. You must be resilient, reliable and enjoy working as part of a team.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
- Significant hands-on practical experience of working with a professional orchestra
- A detailed knowledge of the working practises and demands of a professional orchestra
- A thorough knowledge of best practice in orchestra recruitment and experience of managing orchestra recruitment processes.
- Track record of taking and accepting responsibility for projects and initiatives
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience of OPAS or other event management system software (OPAS experience will be highly regarded but is not essential)
- Competency across the Microsoft Office suite - Word, Excel, Outlook - and an ability to pick up systems and process quickly.
