The Royal Ballet and Opera continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance both live on stage and through multiple digital platforms, from live streaming to worldwide cinema screenings. Our Covent Garden theatre has been at the heart of London and British cultural life for three centuries. We are home to two world-class Companies: The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera.

We are now seeking to appoint to the new contract position of Test Lead. As we embark on a serious of organisation wide transformation and technology projects, we are seeking a professional who will lead on designing and implementing test strategies and approaches, managing testers, and ensuring that RBO applications meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven working experience as a Lead Tester or Tester
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
A certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) and a strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes is highly desirable so please do reference this in your application is applicable.
