Salary: £41,092.00 per annum, pro rata

The Royal Ballet and Opera is home to three of the world`s great performing art companies: The Royal Ballet, The Royal Opera, and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House. We aspire to produce great art, telling stories that can speak to universal themes that move us.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Royal Ballet and Opera Scenic Construction team at the Bob and Tamar Manoukian Production Workshop, our purpose built state-of-the-art 3750 sq. metre building in Purfleet, Essex. The site contains a scenic construction carpentry workshop, metal workshop, paint studio and fit up area, enabling us to make scenery for the Royal Opera and Royal Ballet companies and the Birmingham Royal Ballet.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Production Coordinator to support the priorities set by the Technical, Production & Costume Administration Manager. To work as an effective member of the Technical, Production & Costume Administration Team, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that all administrative tasks are carried out to the highest possible standard of safety, efficiency and quality.

This role will suit a candidate who can demonstrate strong creative crafting skills within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in an administrative office-based role.
  • Experience of working with databases including data analysis and report writing.
  • Experience of analysing data including financial reports and departmental statistics.
  • Understanding of GDPR regulations.
  • Excellent MS Office working knowledge and skills, including advanced MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
