Management Accountant, Reporting Lead

Known as one of the busiest repertory theatres in the world, we are currently planning for our reopening and look forward to welcoming our audiences and supporters back to our iconic theatre in Covent Garden.

The Finance Department is now looking to appoint an experienced professional as Management Accountant, Reporting Lead working in a small team within the central Finance department. Reporting to the Head of Management Accounts, you will provide an essential service to the department as the lead for the monthly reporting and driving process improvements in our reporting; you will also work on year end, as well as assigned project accounting and supporting designated areas of the organisation with tracking and reporting costs and income. This is a new position and is offered as a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will be an experienced team player, with:

  • Experience in a similar capacity as a Management Accountant, Reporting Lead providing a service to senior management and to the Finance team with experience in a busy, progressive and tightly managed medium sized business, including: monthly reporting, annual budget preparation, financial modelling, cash flow reporting and invoice coding
  • Significant experience of delivering process improvements and reporting including in monthly accounting and management information packs
  • Qualification from one of the CCAB-recognised Accountancy bodies or equivalent (ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc), part-qualified or recognized as qualified by experience
  • Highly numerate and analytical with strong spreadsheet manipulation skills and advanced Excel work, experience of using accounting software systems day to day, with proven experience of learning new systems
  • High standard of written and verbal English, consistent performance with regard to accuracy and the capacity to manage a busy workload, with multiple deliverables and deadlines
  • Ability to work to and support a culture of continuous improvement
