Scheduling Assistant and Office Coordinator, The Royal Ballet


Permanent Contract

Salary: £25,000 per annum (full-time, 40 hours per week)

As the home of The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera, at the Royal Opera House we want many more people to enjoy and engage in exceptional ballet and opera.

The Royal Ballet is now seeking to appoint an experienced and proactive administrator to the new role of Scheduling Assistant and Office Coordinator. The role will provide effective administrative support across the Company Office`s activities, with responsibilities including:

  • Managing the administration and distribution of Company tickets
  • Inputting information into the healthcare and production planning databases
  • Assisting with the updating/distribution of performance casting information
  • Being the first point of contact for all internal and external enquiries and correspondence to the office, dealing with queries and taking messages
  • Managing the smooth running of the office and liaise with other departments as necessary, including IT and Facilities

  • Experience of administrative support in a busy, multi-faceted office
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively
  • Capability to work under pressure and manage a busy workload
  • Strong Microsoft Office user with self-sufficient administrative skills
  • Strong communication skills with a high standard of written and verbal English and a considerate, tactful approach
  • Excellent people and relationship building skills, with the ability to operate successfully with people at all levels
