One-year fixed-term contract from August 2021

Part-time 3 days (24 hours) a week - Monday, Wednesday, Friday ideally

Salary: £26,041.54 per annum

As the home of The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera, at the Royal Opera House we want many more people to enjoy and engage in exceptional ballet and opera.

The Royal Ballet is now seeking to appoint an experienced physiotherapist to provide physiotherapy assessment, clinical diagnosis, treatment and exercise rehabilitation for the dancers of The Royal Ballet to the highest professional standards.

This role works as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals led by the Clinical Director. The remit of the Healthcare team includes injury prevention, injury management and rehabilitation, assessments, performance enhancement, dance health education and clinical projects.

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:

  • Professional qualifications including registration with HCPC and CSP, and substantial professional practice in physiotherapy specialising in musculoskeletal/sport physiotherapy.
  • Proven rehabilitation competency in sport and/or dance with the ability to implement innovative ideas.
  • Appreciation of the training and rehabilitation needs of dancers relevant to the ballet art form
  • Ability to manage priorities and support a busy workload.
  • Diplomacy, discretion and positive approach to all areas of case management.
  • Credibility with patients and management as a trusted practitioner
