Human Resources Services and Data Administrator


£25,000 per annum
Full-time (40 hours per week), permanent contract

As the home of The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera, at the Royal Opera House we want many more people to enjoy and engage in exceptional ballet and opera. We have a diverse team of over 800 staff - working in artistic, technical, craft, administrative and customer service roles - and are now looking for a HR Services and Data Administrator to join our busy HR team.

In this role you will provide proactive administrative support to the provision of services to managers, staff, casuals and freelancers on the full range of HR employment issues - ensuring consistency of approach and correct application of employment legislation, ROH policies and procedures and terms and conditions of employment. You will ensure that all administration for the weekly and monthly paid leaver process is timely, accurate and up-to-date and provide admin support for compliant pensions Auto Enrolment service. You will also support data and management information reporting as required, and support on any grievances, disciplinaries, or complaints procedures.

  • A commitment to work towards CIPD membership
  • Organisational and administrative skills, with some experience within a HR function
  • The ability to work effectively with a wide range of people
  • Strong numeracy with experience of analysing and reporting on complex data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and to work unsupervised
