Part-time (13 hours) a week - Tuesday and Friday 12pm to 6.30pm Salary: £18,928.00 per annum


As the home of The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera, at the Royal Opera House we want many more people to enjoy and engage in exceptional ballet and opera.


The Royal Ballet is now seeking to appoint an experienced Soft Tissue Therapist as part of an elite rehabilitation, performance and recovery service for our company of 90 dancers, to the highest professional standards.


This role works as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals led by the Clinical Director. The remit of the Healthcare team includes injury prevention, injury management and rehabilitation, assessments, performance enhancement, dance health education and clinical projects.


We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:


  • Relevant professional qualifications/training including registration with a professional body.
  • Experience working in sport and/or dance with the ability to implement innovative ideas.
  • Appreciation of the training and rehabilitation needs of dancers relevant to the ballet art form.
  • Ability to manage priorities and support a busy workload.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal systems and procedures, including the working practices of a major theatre.
  • Ability to support a high-performance culture and team ethic.
