The Orchestra of the Royal Opera House is seeking to appoint an inspirational leader to the position of:

Associate Concert Master (No.2)

We invite applications from outstanding players with considerable recent relevant professional experience. The successful candidate will be a musician of the highest calibre who is self-motivated, reliable and versatile with the ability to work under pressure and cope with a wide range of repertoire. We are looking for strong leadership qualities and communication skills both on and off the music stand, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and develop harmonious and positive working relationships with a diverse range of people.

We intend to hold first round auditions in London between 7th-10th& 21st-30th March 2022.

First round requirements will be:

  1. Mozart Violin Concerto 3 or 4 or 5: 1st movement without cadenza
  2. Orchestral excerpts as per attached PDF.

An accompanist will be provided.

The closing date for receipt of applications is: 8am, Friday 18th February 2022.
