£48,000 -£55,000 depending on experience


The Royal Opera House continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance both live on stage and through multiple digital platforms, from live streaming to worldwide cinema screenings. With the growing need for a varied digital offering across multiple channels for our audiences, in the current climate and for the future, we are working on increasing digital access, services and a wider range of content for our audiences, as a major part of our digital strategy.

The Finance Department is currently looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to provide comprehensive financial analysis for a major digital transformation initiative and other media exploitation products (such as cinema screenings). Working closely with key stakeholders, you will provide a comprehensive service as a trusted advisor, delivering financial analysis, modelling and reporting and ensuring robust financial systems are in place. This role will provide an effective reporting link between the Audiences and Media department`s commercial activities and the Finance Department.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative and experienced team player, with:


  • Experience in a similar capacity as Finance Business Partner working on new revenue streams or a new business proposition
  • Accounting experience gained from within a busy, tightly managed medium sized business, including: monthly reporting, budget preparation, financial modelling and cash flow reporting
  • Experience of managing preparation of monthly management reports and delivery of analysis to key stakeholders
  • A qualified accountant from one of the CCAB-recognised Accountancy bodies or equivalent
  • Extensive experience of computerised accounting systems, preferably SUN, including report writing with strong spreadsheet manipulation skills and advanced Excel knowledge
  • High standard of written and verbal English and ability to manage relationships with key clients or stakeholders across the organisation
