The Royal Opera House continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance live on stage at our heritage theatre site here in Covent Garden, and reaching out to audiences across the UK and worldwide with our cinema screenings and content through other digital platforms. Our Technology team service a broad range of requirements across all departments of the organization and a number of business critical systems, from customer facing and marketing to scheduling and finance.

We are now looking for a Head of Transformation to lead our Technology and business Transformation team. Reporting to the CTO, you will drive and lead on business and technology transformation initiatives across the organisation, and manage a high performing team. The post is offered as a permanent contract and is available for an immediate start.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced team player with these qualities:

  • A proven track-record of leading on developing and delivering business and technology transformation projects, identifying the business requirements and the benefits to support each business case
  • Proven track record in successful implementation and adoption of new technologies and new ways of working
  • Experience of working with innovative, agile and project management tools and techniques, with highly effective budget management skills and use of resources across a complex project portfolio
  • Ability to develop and manage successful relationships with all stakeholders
  • A track record in the management and development of project and business transformation teams
  • Commitment to managing own learning and continuous professional development relevant to the role
