Starting 5th September 2022

Based in: Purfleet, Essex

Do you have some experience of metalwork? Are you interested in engineering? A career in scenic construction could be for you...

The ROH stages over 500 performances a year and our backstage teams are some of the best theatre craftspeople in the world. We want to give everyone the opportunity to get involved in this creative, exciting and growing industry and we think apprenticeships are great way to get started. An apprenticeship gives you the practical skills and knowledge that will underpin your professional development and access to a network of people who can guide and support you during your career.

What our apprentices say:

"I found the fact that I was able to learn and achieve a qualification whilst being paid was very useful. Also, being able to learn on-site experience is extremely important. I feel it`s more than just the qualification."

This year we will offer a Scenic Metalwork Apprenticeship on a fixed-term contract for 3 years, full-time (42.5 hours per week) based at our workshops in Purfleet, Essex.
