The Royal Opera House continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance both live on stage and through multiple digital platforms, from live streaming to worldwide cinema screenings. The work of our Audiences and Media team focuses on growing the love, advocacy and demand for the art presented by the Royal Opera House and seeks to grow our audience-generated revenues.

We are seeking to recruit a CRM Manager who will lead on, develop and implement a CRM email strategy to drive sales and engagement. The successful candidate will develop a customer centric and data-led CRM strategy as well as leading a small but dynamic CRM team in the implementation of the strategy at an operational level. They will also work to embed best practice in CRM strategy and foster a culture of success and creativity within the CRM team that will lead to increased collaboration across the wider Audiences and Media department,

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of planning and delivering strategic CRM campaigns as part of a wider CRM strategy
  • Knowledge of and exposure to working on customer communications with multiple objectives. In the ROH context, experience of ticketing and/or subscription campaigns would be highly regarded
  • Copywriting experience, especially for email and direct mail; a high standard of written and verbal English for all communications.
  • Experience using a modern Email Service Provider (knowledge of the ROH`s current system WordFly is preferred)
  • Proven experience in a people management role with the ability to motivate a small team to KPIs, through coaching, mentoring and regular 121s
  • A firm understanding of key metrics and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A working knowledge of SQL/Sequel would be highly advantageous.
