HR Systems Delivery Manager


£40,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience
Full-time (40 hours per week)
1 year fixed-term contract

As the home of The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera, at the Royal Opera House we want many more people to enjoy and engage in exceptional ballet and opera.

Behind the scenes, the Human Resources team are responsible for attracting, retaining and developing the talent, policies and frameworks required to successfully deliver this busy programme of artistic performances each year. At the heart of this, is enablement from technology and systems to support our 1000 strong permanent staff as well as freelancers, casuals and guest artists.

As the ROH looks to review and overhaul its current people systems, this newly created role will work in close partnership with the Project Board, IT Project Manager, Payroll Implementation Manager, Business Analyst and HR colleagues as the HR subject expert to successfully deliver a new HR, Payroll and Scheduling (HaRPS) IT solution for the ROH within an agreed budget, timescale and scope.

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:

  • Experience of successfully implementing complex HR IT systems - HR Database, payroll interface, scheduling, time and attendance, ATS within a midscale/large organisation.
  • Practical experience and understanding of core HR and recruitment operational processes
  • Excellent influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people within and outside the organisation
  • A minimum of Associate CIPD membership, or able to demonstrate the equivalent level of skill and experience
  • Excellent research and project management skills
  • Strong numeracy with experience of analysing and reporting on complex data
