Youth Opera Programme Manager


Full time; 40 hours per week

Based in Covent Garden

£32,500 per annum

Our Learning and Participation (L&P) programme, based at our Covent Garden and Thurrock homes and across England, aims to inspire creativity, offering people of all ages the chance to discover, question and respond to the power of our artforms.


Our L&P programme is distinctive in its scale and ambitions, involving more than 50,000 annual participants across three strands. These are our award-winning, multi-disciplinary National Schools Programme, our talent development work through opera and ballet training networks and participatory events in our Covent Garden home.

We are now looking for an Opera L&P Programme manager to support the Senior Opera Manager in the planning and delivery of the ongoing Youth Opera programmes and special projects, providing project management administrative, logistical, financial and practical support.


We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:

  • Significant experience of managing performing arts or arts educations projects
  • Experience of producing/delivering high quality performances and events
  • Excellent project management skills with strong organisational, administrative and time management skills and proven ability to work on several projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Experience of financial administration and monitoring budgets
  • An effective team worker with a proactive approach to work
