The Royal Opera House continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance both live on stage and through multiple digital platforms, from live streaming to worldwide cinema screenings.

The Legal and Business Affairs team provide an essential service to a range of internal and external clients, working centrally across the organisation. We are seeking a Copyright and Royalties Coordinator who will provide effective management of all rights and royalties issues including clearing, administering and monitoring ROH rights, ensuring compliance with approved records management processes and policies and general office support.

Our ideal candidate will be proactive and able to work autonomously within a small, busy team. With honed organisation skills and a high level of attention to detail, you will be adaptable and able to exercise good judgement. You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of Copyright and Royalty administration.
  • A working knowledge of performing rights organisations (e.g. PRS/PPL).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high standard of English, accurate typing and the ability to draft and amend documents as directed.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload with high productivity.
  • Experience in licensing and contracts (this is not essential but will be highly regarded)
  • A consistent high level of responsiveness, customer care, diplomacy and respect for confidential information.
