Systems Analyst (Service Desk Support)

Salary: £28,600 per annum

Full time; 40 hours per week

The Royal Opera House continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance both live on stage and through multiple digital platforms, from live streaming to worldwide cinema screenings. The Technology Services and Infrastructure team works to provide a service to all departments across the Royal Opera House Group, including service desk support for other teams and colleagues across the whole organisation, who depend on a variety of essential systems every day.

We are now looking for a Systems Analyst to join the service delivery team working across the Royal Opera House Group, to provide high quality first and second line user support, problem solving, project implementation support and record keeping for the service desk and knowledge database. The service desk upholds a strong team ethic and values information flow, skill development, continuous learning and continuous improvement. This is a very good opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in first- and second-line support with a broad range of systems and technologies.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with these qualities:

  • Broad experience in an IT support service desk environment or demonstrable transferable skills from an end user department
  • Experience in Microsoft products, office systems and enterprise systems such as finance systems, CRM and scheduling systems
  • Experience with a ticketing system such as JIRA Service Desk
  • Demonstrated experience working in a service delivery role and good knowledge of ITIL or related procedures
  • Good base knowledge of technical solutions for common technical problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a consistent high level of customer care and responsiveness
