Strength and Conditioning Coach - LOCUM

Reports to: Clinical Director, Ballet Healthcare

Pay rate: £30.00 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Term: 3 months with potential to extend

As we preprare for the upcoming 24/25 performance season, The Royal Ballet are seeking to appoint a Strength and Conditioning Coach to provide world class performance and rehabilitation service to the dancers of The Royal Ballet Company within the Ballet Healthcare Department.

You will have the specific responsibility for providing a high-quality service to The Royal Ballet Company of professional dancers, based in Covent Garden. You will work alongside other clinical and technical staff under the direction of the Clinical Director as being part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

You will be responsible for the design and delivery of individualised and group-based S&C programmes with a performance emphasis, while also being a key practitioner in the rehabilitation of injured dancers. Programming to the dancers should be grounded in science and your extensive professional experience elite performance environments.

We are looking for a personable highly professional coach who has considerable experience of supporting athletes in a high-performance setting, as well as experience of working with talented athletes or dancers, who will thrive on the challenge of this exciting position. We want someone who is passionate about dancer care, is a team player, a leader and has energy and enthusiasm for their role.
