As a charity, we could not maintain our reputation, the range of our work, or our digital presence, without the support of our business partners, sponsors, philanthropists and members.

Following an internal promotion and a new growth opportunity, we are in the position to recruit two Events Managers to strategically plan and deliver first class events and experiences across the Development and Advocacy department to these stakeholders, ranging from philanthropists to commercial venue hire. This role works within a fast-paced Events team and is critical to the successful delivery of the function.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with good people skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure. They will also be a proactive team player, able to evidence or have transferable skills in the following:

  • A track record in events organising, delivery and promotion
  • Strong project management, including planning and prioritisation, and documentation preparation skills
  • Commitment to delivering a first-rate service to clients, philanthropists and potential supporters
  • Excellent face-to-face communication and negotiation skills, including experience of dealing with senior level businesspeople and philanthropists
  • Highly proficient Microsoft Office user with good database and Excel skills
  • Strong team player able to work collaboratively across the organisation
