The Royal Opera House stages over 500 performances a year, and we strive to attract top talent to support us as a leader in performance arts. This year we will be offering 3 Technical Theatre apprenticeships on a fixed-term contract for 2 years (Sep 2021 - Aug 2023), full-time (42.5 hours per week) based at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. This will include study with the National College Creative Industries for a Level 3 Creative Venue Technician Standard.

Will I be paid?

Yes! £19,691 a year (£379 a week) before tax, rising 2.5% after successfully completing the first year. College fees will also be paid by the Royal Opera House.

Am I eligible?

  1. You must be 18 years old or over on 6th September 2021,
  2. Not have completed a university degree or equivalent level qualification in the UK or elsewhere and
  3. Have work authorisation for the UK.
